Each chair will be produced based on a dialog between the manufacturer and the customer. Many variations are possible such as the legs of the chair could be in anodized aluminum, or platinum. Or solid or plated gold. The wood, could be in Oak, Zebrano of Teck the upholstery can be made in various types of leather or fabric with options of colors etc..
the inspiration for this project
Dan made it known that he wanted his small works Industrial Design/Applied Arts produced and offered to an audience–knowing that audience would likely be small and unconventional in their preferences. So be it. He believed there were enough people in the world who could relate to the thinking and imagination behind the work AND share the joy and vitality evident in the design and making of these pieces. Our job is to make that happen.
